“…don’t relate to anyone what you have seen except when the Son of Man had risen from the dead,” (Mk 9.9b).

The harnessed power of Jesus’ glorious Transfiguration has inwardly driven the privileged disciples to remain faithful and dedicated to the work of PROCLAMING “what they have seen” and to ceaselessly WITNESS to “who Jesus is” as revealed by the Father.

PROCLAMATION OF AND WITNESS TO Jesus’ divine identity which shone on Mt. Tabor warranted the faith in Him as the “Beloved Son of God,” (Mk 9.7).  It has been historically and spiritually proven that in order for the work of proclamation achieves its goal of bringing souls to faith in Jesus, it should be affirmed and confirmed by the witness of life.  Life witness to the Gospel, who is Jesus, provides an irresistible push and pull towards God.

Pure and lively faith in the Lord Jesus is our very witness to Him and the only needed proclamation that people long to see and hear.  May our lives relate to others what our faith allows us to see and hear when Jesus transfigures our souls into the image of His love for all.  Amen.
