Archdiocese of Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand

The basic administrative unit of the church is the diocese or 'particular church'. The Archbishop of Wellington is responsible for the pastoral care of Catholics living in the archdiocese.  The archdiocese comprises 47 parishes spanning the central New Zealand area from a line between Levin and Masterton in the north to the southern boundary from Kaikoura to Westport.  There are also a number of central agencies including adult education, certain pastoral services, management of funds and social services. Certain central support services cover such activities as employment, legal, property, archives and library.

Catholic Television Network

When Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) was launched on August 15, 1981, many felt there would be little demand for a Catholic network. Now, in its 28th year, EWTN has become the largest religious media network in the world, transmitting programming 24 hours a day to more than 148 million homes in 144 countries and  territories on more than 4,800 cable systems, wireless cable, Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS), low power TV and individual satellite users. 
Provide assistance or relief to the members of the migrant community in general, especially those in their times of extreme need or during a temporary change in their personal/financial circumstances. Of particular focus are Filipino migrants who have been observed to increase in number due to the opportunities under the Work to Residence (WTR) pathway, aside from the General Work Permit pathway.

The Philippine Embassy

Aside from New Zealand, the Embassy exercises diplomatic and consular jurisdiction over the Republic of the Fiji Islands, Samoa and the Kingdom of Tonga and an oversight jurisdiction over the Cook Islands.  The Embassy supervises the Honorary Consulates General in Christchurch, New Zealand and in Suva, Fiji.  The Honorary Consulate General in Auckland is temporarily closed as the Embassy is still searching for a qualified Honorary Consul General to head the Office.

Spring of Life Fellowship

The Spring of Life Fellowship (SLF) was conceived in the autumn of 1999, when a group of Filipino Catholics started meeting together in Johnsonville in an effort to build a caring community of friends who strive to live a fruitful and spirit-filled life.  SLF members fellowship together regularly at least three times a month learning songs of praise, studying and reading the bible, sharing spiritual notes and personal experiences - everyone striving to "live the word of God" as a member of the family of Christ.

Tawa Pinoys

The Tawa Pinoys is a community of Filipino migrants who have chosen to live in Tawa and make it their second home.

Bulwagan Foundation Trust

The Bulwagan Foundation is a registered charitable trust that, at its very core, believes in celebrating humanity. In expressing this more visibly, it is embarking on taking its plans for building a multi-purpose Community Centre in Wellington up to the next level. And largely with the support of government, foundations, trusts and individuals who share the same beliefs and values, it hopes to accomplish that sooner.
